First Aesair Event!!

Our story takes us to Kugel, the Capital of the Hollsich Empire, known as the Realm of the Infernal Lion's Duke. Kugel tends to take law to a whole new level as weapons are confiscated at the gates and various checkpoints are located throughout the town. The people are for the most part happy, but even rumor of a crime can get you locked up and possible hanged. Needless to say, someone is being hanged on an almost daily basis. But if you can avoid making enemies your life is a happy one. With the exception of taxes on every good life is easy in Hollsich, and even easier in the Capital. There a rather quiet in that avoids most the troubles and is favored by adventurers for it named The Black Penguin. This is where we find our adventurers, Gaelan Starfire, a Druid coming from the southern forests of the borders of Hollsich lands, and Clarisa Delphi, A Evocator who chose to stray from the tradition of her family, as they quite literally bump heads after Clarisa fumbled her coin purse and Gaelan was attempting to help her pick it up...

After banging his head Gaelan says, "I'm sorry, I should have been more careful. Are you okay?" Gaelan says all of this sounding a little flustered after accidentally banging heads.

[Kylelolcat]

Clarisa rubs the bump while collecting her coin that was dropped. "Yeah, I'm fine." Clarisa says as she checks herself. "Lucky for you, so are my clothes."

[Enoemos]

Gaelan, after again apologizing says, "Well, I need to be going." As he starts to turn around he stops and looks back saying, "oh and by the way, my name is Gaelan. Sorry again for bumping into you." I then turn around and start to walk away

As Clarisa gets everything together, she notices Gaelan walking away. "Hey, where are you off to in such a hurry?" she says, annoyed that this man for not asking her name or letter her say it.

[Enoemos]

Gaelan turns around and says, "I'm off to find a place to stay for the night." He sound surprised as if he didnt expect a response.

Clarisa checks the time of day.

OOC: Since it wasn't stated in the OP, this is me asking.

Clarisa starts walking with Gaelan. "Huh. Okay, I'll go with you." she says as she catches up. "Besides, something tells me I'll run into you again even if I don't. Oh, and my name is Clarisa. Clarisa Delphi."

// um, not sure yet, i was busy with family stuff for Easter.
Gaelan chuckles a bit and says, "yes, we very well might run into each other again Clarisa." at this point Gaelan starts to look for an inn or tavern to spend the night at.

Clarisa is accompanying Gaelan in attempt to find a tavern to spend the night at.

So you both find a tavern in the city. The sign so old you can't even make out the words enscrbied there.

// how busy does the tavern look and what condition is it in?
Upon seeing the outside of the tavern Gaelan's face sours a bit and walks inside to see how it looks on the inside and look at the quality of the tavern.

Clarisa follows to see of what quality this tavern is.

The black penguins seems unkempt and of poor quality, as you enter you see that there is quite a few other adventurers in the tavern. Or at least those that seem of the adventuring persuasion.

OOC: Black penguins? Huh? Is that the name of the tavern? If so, you kinda made it clear the sign was too old to read.

Gaelan looks around for a moment thinks for a second a shrugs walking outside the tavern to see what other options there are in the city.

Clarisa walks with Gaelan, muttering to herself about people holding themselves to higher standards.

Gaelan hears what Clarisa and merely grins as they look to see if there are any other available taverns or inns

Wandering around the city you come across The Cold Lamp, a quaint little tavern on decent quality.

"Well, at least we can read the sign." Clarisa says while looking in to see how crowded the place is.

The place seems pretty packed. Filled with merchants commoners and adventurers alike

Gaelan upon seeing the better quality of the tavern and it's larger crowd decides to walk up to the barkeep and asks, "Do you have any rooms available for rent and what would they cost?"
